Crow’s Nest

The View from Alex. Kane

‘His ignorance was as remarkable as his knowledge.’

To proffer any opinion on Sherlock Holmes is to invite hoots of derision from those who have studied longer and harder than you have: or who have developed authority and expertise in very particular areas.

The Crow’s Nest—a grab-bag of essays, reviews, studies and random thoughts—falls somewhere between the omniscience of a Mycroft and the credulity of a Jabez Wilson: albeit weighed heavily in the direction of Wilson!

If you enjoy them, then please return for more of the same. If not, then heed Holmes and ‘don’t have useless facts elbowing out the useful ones.’
